dc.description.abstract This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of E-Mail service on enrichment of field training program, solving some of its problems, and developing attitude towards it for female student-teachers in the Faculty of Education & Human Sciences FEHS in Taibah University. The sample consisted of 45 female student teachers who represented the five specialties in the FEHS which include Social Sciences, English language, Family Education, Arabic Language and Islamic Studies. The instruments included questionnaire and an interview both designed by the researcher. The results explained the effectiveness of E-Mail service on enrichment of the training program by providing the sample with topics essential to this training, such as classroom management, writing objectives. Also, the service was effective in: solving problems, such as the issues of using variety of teaching methods; cooperation with teachers and head teachers; responding to enquiries that provided by the sample; and developing positive attitudes toward using the E mail service in the field training program in the future. Moreover, the results revealed the effectiveness of E mail service in: changing the traditional phase of the field training program in the FEHS; providing continuous communication between student teachers and the officials responsible of the training program in the FEHS; and allowing privacy in communication. In addition, the results showed the sample's convenience to the experiment of the study, their great intention to develop it, and their encouragement to generalize it. The study recommended establishment of a special web site for field training that provides free E-mail service and approve it as a study unit within the field training program in the FEHS. Also, it recommended the participation of all who involved in the program in this site. The researcher suggested a similar study to be conducted within the in-service teachers' training programs. en_US
