dc.description.abstract This study aimed at investigating the psychological, healthy and social effects of using the Internet from Teachers. The sample of the study consisted of (360) teachers (210 males and 150 females) selected randomly from Abu Dhabi Educational district for the academic year 2007/ 2008 A.D. The researchers used a questionnaire to collect data after examined its validity and reliability. The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences due to gender in both social and psychological domains and in favor of males. Whereas; there was no statistically significant differences related to health field. Also, there were statistically significant differences due to gender in using the Internet daily and weekly (in favor of males) and monthly (in favor of males). There was a number of recommendations related to this study. en_US
