Abstract:
The purpose of this study was aimed at recognizing features of Transformational Leadership (TL) of chiefs of educational supervision in Palestine from point of view of educational supervisors. The study population consisted of all educational supervisors in directorates of education (northern governorates) in the scholastic year 2005/2006, whose number was (345) supervisors. However, the sample included (176) supervisors, chosen randomly. To achieve the goals of the study, the researchers used a questionnaire, and verified its validity and reliability by using the educational and statistical methods. The study revealed that the degree of features of (TL) of chiefs of educational supervision in Palestine was medium, with average (3.28) according to Lickert scale. On the light of the results of the study the researchers recommended some recommendations.
