dc.description.abstract |
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of a behavior modification procedures on reducing negative behavior patterns of autistic children. Participants of the study were three autistic children at Al Kindi International Center of special education in Amman. To achieve the study purpose, a (33) item questionnaire were developed. Reliability and Validity of the questionnaire were insurred. Also, the researchers designed a behavioral modification program for the purpose of reducing behavioral patterns of autistic children. Results revealed low frequencies of negative behavioral patterns among all three children. This indicated that the behavioral procedures followed in the program were effective in reducing negative behavioral patterns of autistic children. Based on these findings, appropriate recommendations were suggested. |
