dc.description.abstract The current study aimed at revealing the effectiveness of a cognitive-Behavioral Counseling program on reducing test anxiety among the twelfth female graders (Tawjehe) in Rafah Governorate. The sample of the study consisted of (24) female students whose age ranges from 17 to 18 years who scored the highest on test anxiety after administering the test anxiety scale .The subjects were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control one. Each group included (12) subjects and the two groups were equivalent. The experimental group subjects were subjected to Cognitive-Behavioral Counseling program. The study resulted in the following findings: There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group female students and that of the control one on test anxiety scale in favor of the twelfth female graders in the experimental group. There were statistically significant differences between the pre and post administration among experimental group subjects in favor of the post administration while there were no statistically significant differences between post and follow up measures among the experimental group subjects. en_US
