dc.description.abstract |
This study aimed at constructing a valid and reliable instrument to assess student’s satisfaction about studying at tafila technical university (TTU) and to investigate the influence of gender, study level and college on student’s satisfaction towards studying at TTU. To accomplish these objectives an instrument was built, It consists of (47) items distributed on ( 5) fields, the validity was assessed using factor analysis and expert judgments, the reliability index was found by using cronbach (α) The study findings were: Student’s satisfaction about studying at TTU was moderate. There is no statistically significant differences related to satisfaction about studying at TTU attributed to gender and study level, but there are statistically significant differences attributed to college variable, these differences were found in science and educational sciences faculties. Also there were no statistically significant differences related to the interaction between college and studying level to the favor of 1st year art college students in the fields of teaching methods and university services, also to the 4th year art college student’s regarding academic counseling. The researchers recommend that university decision makers must take into account the student’s satisfaction and work to raise it. |
