dc.description.abstract |
The purpose of this study was to identify the type of and relationship between locus of control and the level of emotional intelligence among graduate students in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al albayt University. The sample of the study consisted of (79) graduate students. Locus of Control Scale and Emotional Intelligence Scale were used. The results indicated that the graduate students have external Locus of control. In addition, the results revealed that the students enjoyed high level of emotional intelligence. However, the correlational analysis suggested no correlation between locus of control with emotional intelligence as well as its components. Also, it was found that no significant statistical impact of the locus of control on the emotional intelligence. |
