The present study discuss the effectiveness of a Counseling Eclectic program to reduce behavioral, psychological and social problems attendant for pupils with learning disabilities in elementary school. The research was applied on a final sample of 20 male pupils from the School of Muhammad bin Qassim province of Qassim, in Buraida, area of the Elshoka, and was distributed evenly on the experimental and control groups. The following factors were verified: homogeneity by: age, intelligence, educational level of parents, behavioral psychological problems, and school social skills. The tools of the study: The measure of behavioral and psychological problems, the measure of school social skills and a counseling eclectic program. After applying the counseling program, the results of the study showed: increased self-confidence, ease of impulsivity, aggressive behavior, attention deficit, hyperactivity, withdrawal, academic problems, increased positive social skills of school, and ease of negative social skills of school with the experimental group. These results show the positive impact of the counseling eclectic program used in the current study, and show the effectiveness, feasibility and the continuous impact of the program even after months of its application. |
