Posture Status for the Pupils of Basic Education Schools in Mukalla City and its Relationship to Some of the Physical Abilities in Accordance with the Mechanical Requirements

dc.description.abstract The aim of research was to identify the types of posture Deviations most common among basic education school pupils, as well as to recognize the effects of these posture Deviations on some physical abilities, in accordance with the mechanical requirements .The researcher use descriptive method with some tests of posture and physical abilities were applied on a sample of basic education school pupils in Mukalla city. The researcher found that (29.25%) of the studied group was affected by posture deviations and abnormalities that were different and obvious, in addition to the negative effect of these abnormalities on the physical abilities of the studied group. The researcher recommended the establishment of rehabilitation centers for students of basic education under the supervision of specialist doctors and caring for studying physical education as an important subject and the use of exercises that contribute to the correct standing posture, in addition to the interest in the way of students sitting in the class or at home in accordance with the right mechanical requirements. en_US
