dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between posttraumatic stress symptoms and depression using a sample of (296) undergraduate students from the College of Arts at Sultan Qaboos University (142) male and (154) female، were selected randomly. To test the study hypotheses, means، standard deviations, pearson coefficients and t-test were used. The results of the study indicated that: − There was correlation between increase in posttraumatic stress symptoms and in the increase in Depression feelings. − The level of depression feelings was higher among the stressed than the unstressed ones. − There were no significant differences between males and females in the level of posttraumatic stress symptoms. − There were significant differences between males and females in the level of depression feelings. A depression feeling is higher among female. − The findings of this study indicated that; there were some recommendations according to the study results which may develop students coping style with (PTSD) & depression feelings. en_US
