dc.description.abstract This study aimed to detect the degree of teachers' perceptions of the manifestations of authoritarian in education and its relationship with alienation cases. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method through a representative sample on (725) teachers from Irbid District, and prepared an instrument consisting of two measures, the first consists of taking up the scale of authoritarian in (33) paragraphs. The other measure consists of the manifestations of alienation in (22) paragraphs. The results showed medium awareness in the total degree each of the manifestations of authoritarian and Alienation manifestation. While the relationship between the measure of Teachers' perceptions of the authoritarian manifestations and the measure of the alienation manifestations show a positive relationship at a high degree. The results also showed that the existence of an essential difference between each of the measures in favor of few years of service and medium-sized compared to teachers with high service years. Moreover, the results also showed a substantial difference between the domain of authoritarianism in the academic freedom. On the other hand the measure of the alienation manifestations due to the different categories of the sex variable was in favor of males compared to females. en_US
