This study aimed at deriving validity and reliability indicators to Kuch Scale (2008) for assessing career motivations that influence the effectiveness of counselors during training. To achieve the objective of the study, the scale which consisted of (124) items was distributed into (4) domains in accordance to Likert five - Scale categories and was translated into Arabic. The final Arabic version of the scale after judgment consisted of (60) items and was applied on a sample of (619) students. The results indicated that the scale was characterized with appropriate psychometric characteristics, where the test – retest reliability was (0.96), and the internal consistency reliability was (0.95). The validity indicators of the Scale were also investigated through face and construct validity. |
