dc.description.abstract The purpose of this research was to measure the effect of virtual simulation based e-modeling on developing computer maintenance skills and improving the students’ satisfaction towards the content, training strategy and instructor. To achieve this objective, the research team conducted an experimental study on a sample consisting of (75) female students from the department of computer education at Damam University. To measure the computer maintenance skills, an observation check list consists of (38) items reflect the maintenance skills has been developed. A satisfaction scale was also used to assess the students’ degree of satisfaction towards content, training strategy, and instructor. After applying virtual simulation based e-modeling training strategy, there were significant differences between the experimental and the control group on computer maintenance skills and satisfaction. These differences were in favor of the experimental group. Based on these results, a set of educational recommendations are mentioned to generalize the usages of e-modeling and virtual simulation in all practical courses and majors. en_US
