dc.description.abstract This study aimed at empirically exploring and investigating the relationships between learning environment variables (Teaching methods, Educational relationships, Self-study, and Subjects-matter) and hemispheric dominance. After a pilot study which consisted to check the validity and the reliability of the research instruments (questionnaire of learning environment (G L E) and questionnaire of hemispheric dominance G H D). A large sample of university teachers and students were randomly selected to whom the questionnaires were administered. The data collected was analyzed in different ways. Generally speaking, the following results were found. The dominance of left hemispheric was overwhelemly showed by all subjects. But the degree of this dominance was more pronounced in subjects with scientific profile than subjects with literature profile. The analysis of data revealed that teaching methods enhance more left hemispheric dominance. Positive learning of educational relationship was more related to left hemispheric dominance than right hemispheric dominance. The results were discussed in the light of the recent research in the field. en_US
