dc.description.abstract The study aimed at exploring the extent of trust the principals of Jordanian public schools had in teachers, students and parents according to some variables. The researchers used Principals Trust Scale which was developed by Megan Tschannen-Moran )2004(. The scale was translated and adapted to the environment of Jordan and the validity and reliability of the scale were confirmed. The study sample consisted of 182 principals working in five governorates of education in the 2014/2015 academic year. The most important results were that: 1. The trust of the Jordanian public schools’ principals in the other parties was moderate, and the trust was -in a descending order- as follows: teachers )high(, students )moderate(, and Parents )moderate(. 2. There were no significant differences in the means of trust of the Jordanian public schools’ principals with reference to the nature of the region, gender of the principal, qualifications, and experience. On the other hand, the differences were significant for the school level in favor of the principals at the basic educational level. Finally, the researchers recommended that the educational authorities should invest in the trust of principals in teachers for improving the effectiveness of the educational system and increasing its efficiency. They also recommended that principles should be provided with professional development enhancement means to equip them with some skills that would help promote their trust in students and parents. en_US
