This study investigates the degree of using computer applications by mathematics teachers holding the International Computer Driving License )ICDL( in Jordan schools with respect to gender and experience variables, and to identify their attitudes towards (ICDL). A stratified random sample of (60) teachers was drawn )25 males and 35 females( from )12( public schools in Amman. Two questionnaires were developed to answer the study questions. The results showed that the attitudes towards )ICDL( training were positive, and the general level of use of computer applications was high, Word Program was mostly used by teachers, while Basic technology Information was less used by teachers. The results also showed that there were no significant differences (oe ≤ 0.05) in the use of computer applications due to gender and experience in all domains. The study recommends that mathematics teachers should undertake several workshops on computer applications. |
