The Prevailing Forms of Educational Leadership in Jordan Jerash Governorate Secondary Government School Principals, according to its Teachers

dc.description.abstract This study aimed to identify the prevailing forms among Government secondary school principals in Jerash Governorate, according to its teacher’s perspectives, and to identify the differences related to statistical significance, depending on the variables of the study (Gender, Qualification and Experience). The study sample consisted of )329( male and female teachers. The study results indicate that the prevailing educational leadership style is the democratic style, according to teachers’ perspective. There were differences related to statistical significance in the significance level )0.05=a( in the sample, according to the extent of applying the prevailing leadership styles between the principles of secondary schools in Jerash Governorate, and that attributed to gender variable which is in favor of girls. There were no differences related to statistical significance in the significance level )0.05=a( According to the sample, the extent of applying the prevailing leadership style between the principles of secondary schools in Jerash Governorate, and that attributed to qualification variable. There were differences related to statistical significance in the significance level )0.05=a( in the views of sample, according to the applying of the leadership style )The democratic style, the authoritarian style, the anarchic style(.
