The Effectiveness of the University of Tabuk Strategic Plan (2012-2016) in Improving the Performance of the Science Colleges

dc.description.abstract The objective of the study was to identify the effectiveness of the strategic plan )1433-1437H( of the University of Tabuk )U of T( in improving the performance of the University colleges and its governorates branches. The descriptive approach was utilized to achieve this purpose. Parties to the study consisted of the deans of the colleges and their vice deans as well as departments' chairpersons, both male and female. A questionnaire containing indicators of the strategic plan and its objectives was distributed to the entire community )16 deans, 45 vice-deans, 133 departments' chairpersons(. The most prominent results showed the achievement of )10( performance indicators against )10( other indicators that were not achieved, and the remaining )26( indicators of performance were partially achieved to some extent. The results also showed statistically significant differences in three strategic objectives: numbers 2,4, and according to "college place" to the benefit of the governorate colleges. en_US
