The Predictive Value of Internal Motivation and Personal Goals of Academic Performance for Primary School Students in Zarqa

dc.description.abstract This study aimed to investigate the predictive value of internal motivation and personal goals of academic performance for primary school students in Zarqa. study sample consisted of (321) students of tenth, eleventh and twelfth classes in the schools of the city of Zarqa, by (5%) of the total the study population. To answer the questions of the study, the means, standard Deviation, t test and multiple regressions were computed. The results of the study revealed that each of the intrinsic motivation and personal goals and performance academic among Students was high, also the results revealed a statistically significant correlation between dimensions of intrinsic motivation and personal goals. The results also revealed a statistically significant correlation between dimensions of internal motivation and academic performance. The predictability value was around 10%, which is relatively low. en_US
