dc.description.abstract This study aims at knowing the subjective and the social factors that contribute to the formation of the cultural alienation of a child in the upper primary stage in Amman. A random sample of 307 female and male students is selected out of a (6943) total population. A questionnaire consisting of (38) paragraphs is developed. The questionnaire is divided into two domains: the domain of subjective factors, and the domain of social factors. Though the obtained results show that the subjective factors acquired a high degree in contributing to the formation of the cultural alienation of a child, the social factors have acquired a higher degree. The results also registered statistically significant differences due to the variable of the place of residence and the educational level of the parents in affecting the subjective and the social factors in forming the cultural alienation of a child. The study concludes that there is a need to update the educational plans in all the aspects of the educational process to create a learning environment in schools that fulfills the students' needs and distances them from being alienated. en_US
