Abstract:
at King Abdullah II School of Excellence in Irbid Govern ate and recognizing the variation of the emotional intelligence using ”Bar On“ Model on those teachers. The study involved a sample of all female and male teachers at King Abdullah II School of Excellence in Irbid Govern ate, who were )63( teachers: )24( males and )39( females during the school year )2015-2016(. The study followed the descriptive and survey method by using ”Bar On" Model after proving its validity; it has )47( sections about the dimensions of the following five emotional intelligence criteria: intrapersonal, interpersonal, stress management, adaptability, and general mood. The study concludes the following: -The level of emotional intelligence of King Abdullah II School of Excellence teachers is high. -There are statistically significant differences (α=0.05( due to the differences in gender into interpersonal section and the emotional intelligence as a whole. the differences were in favor of females whereas there are no other differences concluded.
