dc.description.abstract The study aimed at identifying the level of integrating mental skills in the training unit among the Jordanian coaches and their attitudes towards it. Also, the study aimed at identifying the level of integration according to the training experience and the kind of sport )individual, collective(. The sample of study consisted of )88( coaches of different grades who participated in the courses of the National Program for preparing the Jordanian coaches during the period from 30/4 to 8/11/2016 and they were selected according to the deliberate method. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher set up a tool for this purpose. The results showed that the Jordanian coaches have strong positive attitudes toward the mental skills. At the same time, the results showed a small percentage of the Jordanian coaches who listed the training of mental skills in their annual plan. Further, the results indicated that the level of integrating the mental skills in the training units is very low since all the mental skills were found at a very low level, except for the skill of visualization, which came at a low level. The researcher recommended that Jordanian coaches should activate the training of mental skills and use the current study tool to assess the level of integration of these skills in their training. en_US
