Abstract:
This study aimed at explorinig the viewpoints of the Community College
students at Northern Border University )NBU( towards their use of e-learning
management system (Blackboard) in the flipped learning strategy. The study
also attmpted to find out whether there were any statistically significant
differences amongst the average of their viewpoints of using e-learning
management system (Blackboard) in the flipped learning strategy due to the
gender variable. The study used the Quasi-experimental research method
through using a questionnaire to collect the data. The tudy sample included 50
male and female students in the Community College at NBU as a One Group
with posttest following the experimental design.
The results showed that students of Community College at NBU were
very much affirmative so did they agree on using the e-learning management
system (Blackboard) in the flipped learning strategy. The results also indicated
that there were small differences between the average students on using
e-learning management system (Blackboard) in the flipped learning strategy
and according to the gender variables for the male students; benefit. The study
recommends using the learning management system )Blackboard( in the
flipped learning strategy, and training faculty and students to do so.
