Abstract:
The objective of the research is to determine the effect of using the 7E'S learning
model in teaching the geometry and spatial reasoning unit of second grade students at
the middle school on developing achievement and retaining their learning effect. The
case study was studied on 61 students’ samples according to the modifed learning
cycle )7E'S( with 31 empirical sample of students. The research tools consisted of an
achievement test, a teacher's guide and student worksheets.
The results showed that there is a statistically signifcant difference between the
mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the
achievement test in favor of the experimental group students and retaining the learning
effect of the experimental group students.
