The current research conducted to valuate psychological measurement
procedures in a sample of research reports published in refereed Arab
educational journals. To achieve this goal, an assessment card was constructed
and consisted of )95( items, each item represents a psychometric procedure,
and its validity and reliability were verified by appropriate methods. Then it

for verifying tools validity is the validity based on arbitration and the least
used is criterion-based method and age differentiation method. The Cronbach
alpha coefficient method was the most commonly used method for verifying
tool reliability, while the equivelant forms method was the least commonly.
The percentage of achieving psychometric procedures in researches ranged
in general between )0 - 100%(, and the percentage of common errors in
applying psychometric procedures in educational research reports in general
