dc.description.abstract This study aimed at identifying the accuracy level of the jump shot from the middle center among the sample study, as well as to the differences in the accuracy level due to the variable of the kinetic model. To achieve this, the researchers used the experimental approach on a sample (n = 40) of the frst-year students in the Faculty of Physical Education - University of Jordan. The study sample was divided into two groups: control )N = 20( and experimental )n = 20(. The kinetic model )Attiyat et al., 2016( was applied on the experimental group in the main part of the training unit. The study examined the angles of fexion joints (elbow and wrist), as well the release (velocity, angle, height) of ball at the release phase. The study sample was flmed by using a Sony video camera )Sony HDR-CX220E( reached speed )50( frame/s. The study results showed that the average accuracy level of the jump shot was )2.8( for the control group, and )6.20( for the experimental group. Additionally, there were a statistically signifcant differences in accuracy level between the two groups and for the beneft of the experimental group due to the variable of the kinetic model. The researchers recommend the application of the kinetic model in the training of skipping skill in basketball. en_US
