dc.description.abstract The study aimed to know the nature of the relationship between the estimation of stress with the meaning of life and psychological burnout among doctors, the differences in them according to gender, and the effect of isolating the meaning of life on the relationship between stress and psychological burnout. The number of participants was (252( doctors in the State Kuwait. The MLQ questionnaire prepared by Steger, Frazier, Oishi & Kaler (2006(, Maslach's Burnout inventory, and Self-Estimate of Work-Related Stress Level were used. The results showed the existence of negative correlation coeffcients statistically signifcant between the existence of meaning and each estimate of stress, psychological burnout, and its dimensions. There were no statistically signifcant differences according to gender in burnout and stress. There were signifcant differences according to gender in the presence of meaning and the search for meaning in favor of males, and it was found that isolating the existence of meaning and searching for meaning leads to a signifcant modifcation in the relationship between self-estimation of stress and psychological burnout. en_US
