Abstract:
This current study aimed to find out the degree of practice of female
students’ practical Training in class teacher specialization of teaching
competencies from their viewpoint and from cooperating teachers’ viewpoint.
To achieve the study objectives, two measures of teaching competencies were
used, one of which was addressed to the female trainee students and the other
to the cooperating teachers. The study sample consisted of )69( female trainee
students as well as (65) cooperating teachers in class teacher specialization,
chosen by the simplified method. The results demonstrated that there is a high
degree of the practice of teaching competencies by female trainee students
in class teacher specialization from their viewpoint and from the cooperating
teachers’ viewpoint. The results indicated that there were no significant
statistical differences in the teaching competencies of the female trainee
students from their viewpoint attributed to the variables of the cumulative
average and the number of conducted classroom observations, except for
the assessment of student competency in favor of cumulative average rating
Excellent compared to Very Good. The study also showed that there were
significant statistical differences in the degree of the practice of the female
trainee students’ teaching competencies from their viewpoint and from the
cooperating teachers’ viewpoint in favor of the female trainee students.
