The Degree of Utilizing Information Technology and its Relation to Managerial Creativity of Public Secondary School Principals in Bahrain

dc.description.abstract The study aimed at identifying the degree of utilizing information technology for public high school principals in Bahrain from their own perspective and its relation to their managerial creativity as perceived by their teachers. The study sample consisted of (15) male and female principal, and (194) male and female teachers. The study sample consisted of (15) male and female principal, and (194) male and female teachers. Two instruments were used to collect data; the first: to know the degree of utilizing of public high school principals for information technology, and the second: to measure the managerial creativity level for public secondary school principals as perceived by their teachers. The researcher used descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient (Pearson), and the Mann-Whitney test and analysis of variance and Scheffe test for post hock. The results showed a high level of utilizing information technology of principals. Also showed a high level of managerial creativity for public secondary school principals as perceived by their teachers. The results also showed a correlation between the estimates of utilizing degree of information technology for school and estimates of their teachers to the level of managerial creativity reaching Pearson’s correlation coefficient (0.96). Also the results of the study indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the utilizing degree of information technology for public high school principals attributed to the variables of gender and experience. Also showed a statistically significant differences in the utilizing degree of the information technology for school principals for attributed to the variable of practical experience, And there were no significant differences between the utilizing degree of information technology by Public secondary school principals attributed to gender. en_US
