The Effectiveness of E-Training in the Development of Teachers' Distance Education and Digital Learning Skills among Students of the Second Episode of Basic Education in Oman

dc.description.abstract The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of e-training in the development of distance education skills among teachers and digital learning skills in students in Oman. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive curriculum, by preparing two courses, the frst to measure the effectiveness of distance education training in developing teachers' skills in employing electronic platforms by learning from the point of view of frst teachers and educational supervisors, and the second to identify the effectiveness of distance education in the development of digital skills in students. After verifying the authenticity and stability of the tools, they were applied to a sample of (156( teachers, (44( supervisors, and (903( students. The results revealed that the effectiveness of e-training in developing teachers' skills in the use of electronic learning platforms was high. The results indicated that the level of availability of digital skills among students was also high.The researchers recommended the need to train teachers to activate educational sites in the classroom position, and train students in the use of electronic learning platforms. en_US
